Who Advocates for the Ocean?

For as vast and significant as the ocean, there are but a few advocates at the scale required to make a difference in public awareness and action. In this episode of World Ocean Radio, host Peter Neill will discuss not only the prominent conservation-based NGOs, governmental organizations and individuals who advocate for the ocean, but also two lesser known advocates--very different in structure and assets yet working with comparable purpose.

Peter Neill, Director of the World Ocean Observatory and host of World Ocean Radio, provides coverage of a broad spectrum of ocean issues from science and education to advocacy and exemplary projects. World Ocean Radio, a project of the World Ocean Observatory, is a weekly series of five-minute audio essays available for syndicated use at no cost by community radio stations worldwide.
