250th Edition of World Ocean Radio

This week's broadcast is the 250th edition of World Ocean Radio. We wish to thank all our listeners, broadcasters and partners in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, Africa, New Zealand, and Hong Kong, China, and additionally through internet streaming, podcast subscriptions and RSS feeds, for the attention and support. We will continue this effort and will be expanding our global reach with translations into French, Spanish, and Portuguese in 2014. As with most major milestones here at World Ocean Radio, this week we offer a re-broadcast of the inaugural edition, The Sea Connects All Things, which originally aired in March of 2010.

Peter Neill, host of World Ocean Radio, provides coverage of a broad spectrum of ocean issues from science and education to advocacy and exemplary projects. World Ocean Radio, a project of the World Ocean Observatory, is a weekly series of brief audio essays available for syndicated use at no cost by community radio stations worldwide.
